Cowardice asks the question, ‘Is it safe?’ Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?’ Vanity asks the question, ‘Is it popular?’ But, conscience asks the question, ‘Is it right?’ And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one’s conscience tells one that it is right.

Young Political Activist Found

A photo taken from 1994 in London a subgroup set up by the Revolutionary Communist Party.: the Campaign Against Militarism (CAM), which was set up to fight against western military intervention. CAM organised protests against the military interventions in Somalia, Bosnia and Iraq. On 10 September 1993 seventy Somalis and CAM supporters occupied the United States embassy after an alleged massacre of civilians in Mogadishu the only time it has happened.

A friend recently came across himself (Colin Glennon from Mullingar) pictured on this wikipedia photo taken in 1994. What a fantastic shot. His stories on studying politics in the University of North London were very inspiring for the New Year..

The Moving Crib

This is one of the greatest video's I have seen, and I am now dying to go see the Moving Crib for real in Dublin this week! Compliments to the maker of this video and currently only 278 Views. It will explode at some point I am sure of it.. and a great way to highlight one of the greatest wonders of Catholic Ireland.
