My favourite photo from my recent trip to the West Bank and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. A young boy with a glitter wig, his exact race underneath unknown and irrelevant.

3. The ash plume of Iceland 's Eyjafjallajokull volcano which has caused air traffic chaos across Europe has dropped to a height of about 2 km (1.2 mi), the Meteorological Office said. This happened around 19 April 2010.

The Wild Swans at Coole

The trees are in their autumn beauty,

The woodland paths are dry,

Under the October twilight the water

Mirrors a still sky;

Upon the brimming water among the stones

Are nine-and-fifty swans.

Just back from a few days in Lough Sheelin, Co. Cavan. I loved it there, there was so little to do.
I even started reciting poetry, while looking at tranquil waters. 
More than loving these propaganda soviet style posters from Black Swan, the new Darren Aronofsky (π, Requiem for a dream, The Wrestler) movie coming out soon. Starring one of my all time favourite female actors, Natalie Portman. A nice ..time for reflection

Patrick Wolf is back! 'Time of my Life' is the name of the new single from him to be released on Dec 6 2010. His last album was The Batchelor (2009) and not forgetting his pop breakthrough album and single from 2007, The Magic Position. Limited-release of this new 7" vinyl includes B-side of Leonard Cohen's 1992 song, Anthem - which I must simply hear. After seeing the man himself sing it in June 15th 2008 in Kilmainham, Dublin with my two jabroni's (brothers). What a concert, and Anthem really stood out during that concert so it's no wonder that Wolf is covering this astonishing song on this B-side.
